Monthly Convening: “LGBTQIA+”

On Friday, July 26, the SDMFC hosted its Monthly Convening at the Mission Valley Library and focused on the topic of “LGBTQIA+.” We were privileged to have this topic discussed in one of our convenings for the first time! We had such a powerful and supportive discussion on the stigma attached to this topic, how to be more understanding and considerate, and sharing the different resources out there for this community to utilize. Thank you to all the panelists who participated as well as our attendees. Check out the fact sheet of the convening by clicking HERE!
