In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the San Diego Military Family Collaborative is happy to present the following list of mental health resources in and around San Diego County.

• County of San Diego Health & Human Services Agency
  
  County funded health agency aimed allocate mental health care resources and services to residents of San Diego county.
• 2-1-1 San Diego
  
  This hotline connects people in San Diego and neighboring communities with free health and disaster services through a toll free 24/7 phone service and searchable online database.
•  
• San Diego Access and Crisis Line
  
  Phone: (888) 724-7240 Serves as a suicide prevention/intervention hotline and provides mental health crisis intervention, information and referral to mental health services in San Diego County, including referrals to mental health care professionals who accept Medi-Cal and serve people who lack health insurance. 

• National Suicide Prevention Hotline

  Serves as a toll-free 24/7 national hotline for those who are suicidal or experiencing emotional distress.
• The North County LGBTQ Resource Center

  North County’s LGBTQ Resource Center’s mission is to foster and empower the LGBTQ community by providing a safe haven, advancing awareness and visibility, and sustaining equality and inclusiveness.

• RI International – San Diego Chapter:

  RI International provides rehabilitation/recovery services for adults with mental health and/or addiction challenges and offers free wellness and recovery classes to adults experiencing mental health challenges.

• NAMI San Diego

  NAMI San Diego offers a variety of resources and services such as a helpline, support groups, educational meetings, newsletters, a lending library and a number of classes on mental illness held at various locations throughout San Diego County.
• San Diego Family Care
  
  This organization is dedicated to providing those from all walks of life with access to high quality medical care, mental health care and multi-cultural health promotion, with a primary focus on central San Diego.

  Offers individualized outpatient services such as therapy, group counseling, medication management, mental health education as well as substance abuse treatment.
• Aurora Behavioral Health Care – Youth Services

  Provides inpatient; partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient psychiatric services to children and youth with emotional problems, including those with substance abuse issues (dual diagnosis). Services are provided in a structured environment and include daily living skills training.
